YOUR INSPIRATION

I was inspired by both the classic Mimco button bag styling and also by fashion during a decade after the original inspiration for the button bag - the 1970s safari suit. The front and side pocket details are inspired by the lines of the pocket on the safari suit, with contemporary detailing added with the inclusion of perforated leather in the classic Mimco 'x' styling.

I would love to win this prize. I am a 19 year old student who has very recently completed a qualification and am currently assembling my working wardrobe.

DETAILS & DIMENSIONS

The Tabco bag is 30cm high and 38cm wide and 16cm deep. It has a zip top closure, a zipped pocket on the front panel which has a flap with button detail, a zipped side pocket, interior zipped pockets, mobile phone pocket and two slip pockets.

MATERIALS & HARDWARE

The bag is made of blush pink patent leather and black patent leather. There are perforated leather cutouts overlaying the front panel (blush pink overlaying black patent) with a black patent strip sewn across both front and side panels.

The rear of the bag is blush pink, and the upper handles are black patent leather. The hardware is in rose gold, including a Mimco button and round Mimco laser cut zipper pulls.
